KVK Sawaimadhopur is functioning as extension unit of Agriculture University , Kota financed by ICAR, New Delhi. It is lead centre of transfer of technology. Main function of KVK is transfer of latest technology to farmers, farm women, rural youth and extension functionaries . KVK was established on 9th September 1992. KVK has total land 16.5 ha. With cultivable land is 14.5 ha. In which 1.95 ha. In orchard and for activities of soil reclamation is under 2.85 ha. Seed production/ Crop production programme is under 9.25 ha.

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra celebrate and conduct awareness programme on International Yoga day (21st June), World food day (16th October), World soil day celebration (5th December) during each year. Also conduct two preseasonal training programme, SAC meeting and other awareness programme for farmers, Farm women and Rural youth during every year.
